Born and raised in Panamá City, Panama Rosa is an experienced teacher, entrepreneur, trainer, presenter, coach, advisor, and a American Council of Teachers of Foreing Languages (ACTFL) mentor. August 2021 Rosa has been elected as Sociedad Honoraria Hispànica State Director in Hawaii. In May 2020 Rosa was awarded by the Hawaii Association of Language Teachers (HALT) as The Excelent in Teaching Award. January 2019, was elected as a President of the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese (AATSP) chapter Hawaii. Over 12 years of teaching experience and 15 years of supporting colleagues in education from Early Childhood Education to Adult Education, Rosa has a passion for bringing the heart, soul and mind of her culture in her classes and loves collaborating with teachers in workshops and conferences. Rosa is also the advisor of Sociedad Honoraria Hispanica, capìtulo Infusiòn Latina de , The Multicultural Club, and the UNICEF Club at James Campbell High School where she guides students to be leaders while discovering their own cultures.
