Abelardo Díaz Alfaro Chapter gives back to their community in Lakeland, Florida

Last November, the SHS collected food items to create Thanksgiving Baskets to help families in need across Polk County.  The SHS received enough supplies to create more than 50 baskets of Thanksgiving Baskets!  The Spanish Honor Society was able to bless families at George Jenkins High School, Phillip O’Brien Elementary School, Oscar J. Pope Elementary, and Scott Lake Elementary School
