In celebration of Read Across America Week, the Eastside Spanish Honor Society (ESHS) students had the opportunity to read to kindergarten and preschool children at Dale Avenue School their favorite stories (The Cat in the Hat, Green Eggs and Ham, and Hop on Pop), this elementary school is located in Paterson, NJ. The day concluded with the children receiving Dr. Seuss hats, stickers, and certificates of participation.
ESHS students enjoyed the opportunity to be with the children and expressed the importance of reading and educating children from an early age.
