El capítulo Ester Forero celebra El mes de la Historia Afroestadounidense

Eastside Spanish Honor Society (ESHS) Chapter Ester Forero, in Paterson New Jersey, had their Black History Month celebration. The celebration began with a brief overview of the significance of Black History Month, then students read biographies of famous African Americans who made American history, such as Rosa Park, Harriet Tubman, and Mae Jemison.

Plaques of Recognition were given to three members of the Eastside High School African American community at the event.

The first plaque was awarded to Principal Andre McCollum, the second plaque went to art teacher Mr. Darrell Jones, and the third plaque went to student Ab-I-Hai Landle.

Congratulations to the entire African American community at Eastside High School!
